–  Power To The People

    POWER-Up (the Professional Organization for Women in Entertainment Reaching Up)
     has announced the winners of its filmmaking grants: 

    Screenwriting winners are Trapped by Erin Eckles, a journalist and writing director in Marketing in San Francisco;
   Stigler Oklahoma by Michele Greene, actress/singer (LA LAW); and D.E.B.S. by Angela Robinson. 

   Directing winners are producer Lee Friedlander for her directorial debut The Ten Rules;  Angela Robinson who was named
    in “Twenty Five new faces  of Indie Film” by Filmmaker Magazine and in “100 People to Watch” by Interview Magazine for
   The Kinsey Three; and NY member Jessica Sharzer, who just won $10,000 first prize in NYU First Run Film Festival for The Wormhole.
